Fall/Winter 2014

'4D' collection

With its Fall/Winter 2014 collection, UPPERCUT has ventured into a new realm: the fourth dimension. The evolution of the brand has continued along the same lines as in previous seasons, with a concept of aesthetic emphasis for technical qualities, now with a new mix of graphical elements and fabrics, with a focus on visual effects and technical experimentation.

There is greater harmony and consistency in the collection than ever before, with a strong graphic impact in most of the product lines. Prominent examples include the new sweatshirts and t-shirts with 3D geometric visuals and ultra-rich colours in all-over dye-sublimation prints, on a mix of cotton and polyester to create unprecedented effects on the finished garments. Textured Lycra appliqués and pockets have been attached to tops and trousers with thermal bonding, along with tribal-style reflective inserts and embroidery in matching tones.

As always, the selection of jackets has a classically inspired but radical feel. Traditional models such as varsity jackets, anoraks, down jackets and hunter jackets have been revamped with new combinations of technical fabrics, such as waterproof and breathable Schoeller® materials, reflective nylon and polyester with dye-sublimation prints, as well as warm goose down padding.

Rounding off the collection are ultra-basic oversize tops and monochrome sweatshirts with hand-stitched tone-on-tone detailing.

The UPPERCUT collection is entirely designed and produced in Italy. It is sewed and assembled by the same skilful hands that have earned Italy’s top fashion brands a place in history. When it comes to style and quality, it makes no compromises.
